The Davis Direction Foundation partners with the Cobb County DA's office to administer the Zoned 4 ReEntry Program. The program consists of classes, experiential learning groups, coping and life skills. Our Re-Entry Interns engage in these classes to help them successfully reintegrate into society. The Cobb County DA's office is helping us "fight addiction and fuel recovery." The Zoned 4 Re-Entry Program is facilitated at The Zone in Marietta, GA.
The National Safety Council eliminates preventable deaths at work, in homes and communities, and on the road through leadership, research, education and advocacy. With more than 130 deaths each day, a person’s lifetime risk of death from an accidental opioid overdose is greater than the odds of dying in a car crash. The Davis Direction Foundation partnered with more than 50 other organizations and the National Safety Council (NSC) to tackle the crisis head on, issuing a new comprehensive national plan to address opioid misuse and save lives. In collaboration with dozens of partnership organizations, the National Plan for Addressing Opioid Misuse ensures opioid misuse in the U.S. is addressed thoroughly, thoughtfully and effectively.
The Cobb County Commissioners partners with the Davis Direction Foundation to make the COPE House possible. COPE stands for Cobb Overdose Prevention Effort and is designed to teach parents about the early warning signs of drug addiction and how to keep teens away from illegal drugs. The C.O.P.E House mirrors a teen’s bedroom, bathroom, and closet. There are more than 50 educational items on display in the C.O.P.E House and tours of the C.O.P.E. House are led by Peer Support Specialists from The Zone. Since the purpose of the C.O.P.E. House is to educate parents, no one under 18 may enter
AmerisourceBergen manages the transportation of medication, including controlled substances, from manufacturers to licensed pharmacies and hospitals.  Their role in the healthcare supply chain uniquely positions them to contribute important expertise and resources to the battle against opioid abuse in the United States. They are committed to joining other healthcare stakeholders, government entities, civic organizations, law enforcement agencies and individuals to overcome this tragedy. AmerisourceBergen has joined forces with Davis Direction Foundation to combat the opioid/heroin epidemic.
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is the agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) that leads public health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the nation and to improve the lives of individuals living with mental and substance use disorders, and their families. Their vision is to provide leadership and resources – programs, policies, information and data, funding, and personnel – advance mental and substance use disorder prevention, treatment, and recovery services in order to improve individual, community, and public health. SAMHSA and the Davis Direction Foundation share the same mission of combating the opioid/heroin epidemic.
